El-rufai Donates Land To Methodist Church

Governor Nasir Elrufai of Kaduna State has promised to provide additional land for building of Methodists church in Kafanchan, Southern Kaduna

The governor who made the promise when he received the prelate of the Methodist Church Dr. Samuel Chukwuemeka Kanu Uche in his office also urged the Church not relocate from their present location.

He said: “I visited your church in Kafanchan after the violence. We are willing to give you another plot of land in Kafanchan, but please consider using it to build an additional church.

“We request that you do not abandon or relocate the church from your present site. Let us not succumb to the agents of blackmail and division.

“Your neighbors in Kafanchan must accept the right of that church to remain there. The current church should be rebuilt and maintained as a symbol of the right to worship freely.”

Malam El-Rufai said that the government is committed to securing the area and promoting a return to normalcy.

He disclosed that 10 mobile police squadrons are now deployed to the affected local governments, along with two battalions of the army.

He further requested that the religious leaders should discourage the tendency to allow criminals to hide behind religion.

“When individuals have problems or disputes, they should not be allowed to mobilize emotions by escalating their differences into an ethnic or religious conflict.”

Malam El-Rufai thanked the Methodists for showing solidarity with the people and government of Kaduna State in this trying moment.

Earlier in his remarks, the prelate of the Methodist Church Dr. Samuel Chukwuemeka Kanu Uche urged Governor El-Rufai not to relent in his quest to restore peace and security in southern Kaduna.

Dr. Uche, who was speaking when he visited Malam El-Rufai in Kaduna, told the governor that he should take the blames flying around as the price of leadership.

“We note that you are being blamed over the violence in southern Kaduna. Please take that as the price of leadership. We know that the issue has been happening before your government. I remember the 1987 events vividly.

“We call on the people of Kaduna State to accept each other, to be tolerant, and to say no to violence. I have served in Kano. I do not see why we should fight each other. Nobody can Christianise or Islamise Nigeria. Let us learn to live together in peace. Religion should preserve lives. Anybody who kills is a criminal. Those who sponsor killings should be arrested.”

Dr. Uche, who was accompanied by the Methodist Bishops of Kaduna and Kano, said he came in solidarity with the people of Kaduna State. He informed Malam El-Rufai that the MedtodistChurch in Kafanchan was vandalized during the 19th December 2016 riot in Kafanchan. He requested for a new plot of land so that they can relocate the church.

“My church is affected by the violence in Kafanchan. We want your assistance with land to relocate the church and to rebuild it. We thank you for the plots of land you allocated to the Methodist Church in Abuja. I have seen your signature on the certificates of occupancy, and I know that you have nothing against the Church.”

"I Don't Know Her, I have Never Spoken To Her, And The Said Outfit Wasnt Given To Me By Her" Actress Mercy Aigbe Reacts To Claims By Fashion Designer

Early this morning, a designer on Instagram @phoonmy_afrika called out actress Mercy Aigbe for allegedly refusing to credit her for an outfit she made for her. Read what she wrote below:

"As someone who had worked behind the camera in the Nigerian Entertainment Industry popularly called Nollywood and now a Fashion Designer, I picked an interest in two Nollywood Stars @mercyaigbegentry and @jumokeodetola for two different reasons but as the Yoruba adage says: Isunmoni la nmo ise eni. On a closer look you get to know that these people are not what they portrayed. Jumoke Odetola in her case lived up to standard as we approached her to flaunt one of our designs on social media, she responsibly did as agreed an even advertised our company to a few friends while Mercy Aigbe on the other hand collected the sewn garment, wore it to occasions, flaunted it on IG and refused to tag our Company which was the gentleman agreement we had. The problem here is not the fact that Mercy did tag us but her mannerisms when we approached her. Mercy slyly responded well to our chat saying she would do a 'rerock' and tag us but immediately blocked our comments on our post then blocked us on instagram. We put a call through to Jumoke who acted as our link to Mercy tried to pacify the situation but another conversation with Jumoke's manager spurred our anger. According to Mr Abiodun Jimoh @abeyjomo, on telling Mercy Aigbe that she shouldn't have worn the clothes since she knew she wouldn't give the Company that gave her the garment the credit, Mercy had replied that she has worn it and there's nothing anyone can do about it. When we sent a message through Mr Jimoh that we would like to have our garment back. Mercy said it they can come and pick it, she later said No! She would not give it back. The big questions are? Did Mercy believe we gave her our clothe as Charity? Is she from a motherless baby's home? Does she feel so untouchable because she is a cheap star that she is? Does she by anyway know with whom she is dealing with? Things are about to get messy with Mercy and she should be ready for us because if we have to rip our clothes off her skin, we will... just to have it back.

Moji Delano Blog contacted the Mercy, who denied knowing the said designer. Speaking exclusively to MDB she said:

"I never had any agreement with her, I don't know her and the said shirt wasn't given to me by her. She just wants publicity and she is getting it, I am happy for her." She Said.

The Story Of Terry Gobanga: Abducted And Raped On Her Wedding Day, Raptured Womb And Lost Her Husband [Photos+Video]

Terry Gobanga
Terry Gobanga's story is one of the most inspiring I have ever heard. You can't hear her story and not be inspired to stay strong and keep trusting God, to keep believing that there is a light, a bright one at the end of the tunnel.

Speaking on KTN’s Morning Express show, Terry said that on the morning of her wedding, she decided to escort her friend who had slept over and on her way back she was waylaid by three men who abducted and drove off with her.

The horror that awaited her in the car was nothing short of wicked. She was repeatedly raped by 3 men in a moving car for 3 hours. The last man removed the pieces of clothing that gagged her and shoved his manhood into her mouth. In her mind, Terry knew that she was about to die and felt she had nothing to lose and that is when she bit his manhood, sending him reeling away in pain.

This act set off her assailants and that is when they stabbed her repeatedly and tossed her out of the car, leaving her for dead. She was found and taken to the hospital by good Samaritans after the horrific incident. While in the hospital, doctors informed her that she could never have any children as her womb had been ruptured after she got knifed by her attackers.

While some may would have made it for the hills after this unpleasant occurrence, her then to be husband stuck around and they got married about a year after the incidence. This was after doctors made sure she was in the clear medically. 29 days after their wedding, another tragedy struck Terry and she lost her husband to Carbon Monoxide poisoning.

Despite all that happened to her and the persecution from her dead husband's family, Terry stayed strong and is now married to Pastor Tonny and they both lead the Stones to Rubies Ministries Church in Laiser-Hill Rongai. The doctors were also proven wrong as Terry is now the mother of two children

Read Terry's full story below...

One early morning seven years ago, Terry Gobanga, then 24, woke up a happy woman.
It was her wedding day. But as she and her bridal party went about the house preparing for the big day, she realised she had a piece of her fiancé’s wedding outfit.
She asked a friend, Judy, to take the item to him. It was about 5.45am and since Judy was not familiar with Nairobi’s Buruburu estate, Terry walked her to the matatu stage.
As she made her way back home, she saw three men in a parked car watching her closely. One was seated on the car’s bonnet.
Excited about what the day would bring, she paid little attention to them. But just as she walked past, the man on the bonnet grabbed her, forced her into the vehicle and they drove off. She barely had time to call for help.
“All that time, I was thinking it was a big joke because it was my wedding day,” recounts Terry, who was, and still is, a pastor.
Two of the men in the vehicle started hitting her and told her to cooperate with them or else they would kill her.
One of the men held a knife to her and she realised her life was in danger.
Raped her in turns
The car began to speed dangerously as the men raped her in turns, stuffing pieces of cloth in her mouth so she would not scream.
The car stopped at one point so that the driver could also assault her too, only he inserted his male organ into her mouth.
Terry bit him despite the risk as she believed the men would kill her anyway.
The guy howled terribly and stabbed her in the stomach. Shortly after, she was thrown out of the moving vehicle and rolled several times into nearby bushes.
“I was kidnapped at a quarter to six and found by my family at 1pm. There was a huge congregation at All Saints Cathedral for my wedding and they were all left wondering where I was,” Terry says.
The groom, Harrison Ouma Olwande, was equally worried about his wife-to-be, but his phone had been taken away so he could relax and enjoy the proceedings without worrying about any last-minute issues.
Eventually, their church décor had to be taken down to give way to a second wedding that was starting at noon.
A young girl witnessed Terry being thrown out of the vehicle and ran to her grandmother to report the incident.
The grandmother shouted for help. Those who came to her aid tried to flag down vehicles to take Terry to hospital but the longer it took the more convinced they became that she was dead given the amount of blood she was losing.
Further, someone checked for her pulse and told those gathered that she was dead. The police on the other hand were not responding to calls for help.
Terry was later informed that a prominent person happened to pass by decided to find out what was happening when he saw a huge crowd of sad people. He then managed to convince the police to come to the scene.
The police saw her and proclaimed she was dead. She was then wrapped in a blanket and the vehicle headed for City Mortuary.
The police, however, decided to stop at a station to record a statement when Terry returned to consciousness and coughed, startling the officers who had thought she was dead. The police quickly took her to Kenyatta National Hospital.
Back at home, her family was frantically getting in touch with anyone who knew her to find out where she was.
And at the hospital, a matron looked at her and told the other nurses that Terry looked like a bride. “Let me check the churches around to see whether they are missing a bride,” she said.
Coincidentally, she began with the All Saints Cathedral where Terry was to wed. Terry believes it was the hand of God that directed the matron.
The presiding cleric confirmed that a bride had failed to show up for her wedding and came to the hospital and confirmed that Terry was the missing lady.
The story of the matron was narrated to Terry after she came to full consciousness as she had been very violent and shouted at anyone who dared talk to her.

Got wind of the story
Her family was informed of her whereabouts, but the media also got wind of the story and several reporters and cameramen were at KNH to get the details.
“It hurts when you’re the one wearing the shoes and others are just there to get the story. I wasn’t aware of what was going on, but my family was annoyed and tried to prevent the media from taking pictures,” Terry recalls.
She was transferred to the Nairobi Women’s Hospital where she was treated and later counselled. She was also put on anti-retroviral drugs to protect her from HIV.
After 6 months on the drugs, she was given a clean bill of health and started planning for her wedding again with her fiancé who had stood by her.
Some well-wishers – Sherehe Africa and Vip Ogolla – were moved by Terry’s story in a local magazine and paid for her wedding.
This time around, the groom did not want to take any chances and hired bodyguards for his bride. Terry finally had her colourful ceremony. She moved to Kabete with her husband.
The period during their honeymoon was a difficult one as she was still going through trauma. “We were not able to have a normal relationship as husband and wife and this even affected our lovemaking,” she says.
But Harrison was patient and waited until she was ready. Terry describes Harrison as very loving, gentle, protective and understanding.
They met at a hospital where Terry, then 20, had been admitted for chest congestion. Terry was trying to hit an emergency button to call for help when Harrison, who was at the hospital visiting a friend, passed by her bed just in time to see her almost fall.
He pressed the button for her and helped her back up. From that day, their friendship grew.
After the sexual assault, Harrison, her family, church members and senior pastor stood by her, offering her the support she badly needed.
As a pastor, Terry had never imagined something like that would happen to her and she blamed God for a while.
But with the spiritual support she received, she got to the point where she decided to surrender all that had happened to God.
And then tragedy struck once again. One very cold evening, 29 days after the wedding, her husband lit a jiko to help keep the house warm.
He put it in the bedroom. Terry was in the kitchen preparing dinner when her husband, who had been restless all evening, asked her to stop cooking so he could talk to her.
Out of the blue, he said: “In case I die, it will be important for you to get someone loving because your family is close knit.”
These words really stung Terry and she wondered why her husband was thinking of death so early in their marriage.
She cut him short, saying she did not want to hear any talk of death. Sadness engulfed the young couple’s hearts and they both began to cry, holding on to each other. Eventually, they had their supper and left for bed.
General body weakness
Not long after, they started experiencing general body weakness. Little did they know that it was the effect of accumulated carbon monoxide in their bedroom from the jiko.
They had thought they were safe as Harrison had earlier moved the jiko to the sitting room. They passed in and out of consciousness but Terry was able to drop out of their bed when she vomited.
She struggled to the main door and called for help from her neighbours. She survived but her husband died in hospital of the effects of the dangerous gas at the age of 28.
A doctor broke the news that her husband had died as she was recuperating in an emergency ward.
At first she did not believe the doctor and just laughed uncontrollably. It was after the doctor slapped her thrice that the tragedy hit home.
It was a hard time for her as she tried to come to terms with the untimely death of her husband.
“Only 29 days before, I had walked down the aisle to marry this man,” says Terry. She describes that chapter of her life as a “dark season”.
“Life came to a stand-still and I was now living for Harrison. Nothing mattered to me any more and I kept wishing he would walk through the door once more,” says Terry.
She buried herself in denial and lacked the will to eat, shower or even brush her teeth. The months that followed saw her fall into depression, but the support of family and friends helped her recover.
Terry would sing songs of praise to God to help her forget what she had been through. She, however, vowed never to get married again or trust that a man would love her after what she had been through.
But in 2007, at 27, she got married to her current husband, Tonny Gobanga. They have a two-year-old daughter, Tehille Gobanga.
Terry met Tonny at a church basketball tournament in Kisumu when she had gone to visit her sister.
He later became a good friend and was among those who helped with her recovery following the rape and loss of her husband.
He would call her for hours and comfort her even when all she talked about was her late husband.
Terry describes him as one who had “a very clear motive” to be a friend at a time when other men wanted to take advantage of her situation.
Doctors had informed Terry that she would never conceive since her womb had been damaged as a result of the stabbing she received when she was raped.
She informed her current husband who said he did not mind not having children. But the doctors were disproved when she got pregnant.
Despite having gone through a lot of negative experiences, Terry says her inspiration comes from the fact that she can tell people that bad situations are only there for a while.
She has written a book – Crawling out of Darkness (2011) – that captures the details of her story and gives hope to those in despair.
Terry and her husband pastor their church, Stones to Rubies Ministries, located at China Centre along Ngong Road.
Terry also mentors women through a ministry called Pearls of Hadassah. She uses this platform to teach women how to cope with the situations affecting them and uses her story to help them overcome their challenges.
“When you’ve been hit so much with life’s challenges and everything seems to come to an end, never give up.
There are periods you feel you’re done but don’t stop turning the pages. It’s a bad chapter right now but when you continue walking, you’ll realise there’s something more. God has put an intrinsic treasure in all of us. Don’t quit,” she says.

Fashion And Style: The Good Old Nigerian Hairstyles

Do you remember all those intricate and not so intricate hairstyles from so many years ago? Some of the popular names were koroba, kolese, patewo, shuku, etc. Patewo and Shuku seem to have outlived the rest, the others have just faded away into oblivion.

One thing we cannot deny is the fact that those hairstyles were truly artistic. Some of the styles even had interesting names, for example 'kojusoko' (face your husband), 'panumo' (shut up, so Rihanna's shut up and drive wasn't such a new invention after all *wink*). However, some names were rather annoying. The one I hated most was 'ipako elede' (the back of a pig, ewww).

For starters, do you remember the threads from the picture below that was used for 'irun kiko' (threaded hair)? In my primary school days when most schools had a hairstyle roster that had to be followed, those were very common.

Now check out some of these hairstyles and pick out which of them you think you would still like to wear now, apart from shuku and patewo that are still very much in vogue even among the 'sisi league'

"Life Is In Phases, Men Are In Sizes" - The 12 Phases Of Life By Thomas Armstrong

"Life is in phases, men are in sizes". Those 8 words have become some sort of mantra and they are very true. Have you ever been bored and very unsatisfied with a particular stage in your life? Then you would understand the zeal to move on to the next phase. You get to the next stage only to realize that you feel somewhat nostalgic, wishing you had done more or lived more in the previous phase. The trick is to understand all the phases/stages of life, know which one you are in per time and enjoy it to the fullest. Live no room for regrets when life approaches the end. Each phase has a gift, just as you are about to learn below. Utilize every gift.

The 12 stages of life by Thomas Armstrong

1. Prebirth: Potential – The child who has not yet been born could become anything – a Michaelangelo, a Shakespeare, a Martin Luther King – and thus holds for all of humanity the principle of what we all may yet become in our lives.

2. Birth: Hope – When a child is born, it instills in its parents and other caregivers a sense of optimism; a sense that this new life may bring something new and special into the world. Hence, the newborn represents the sense of hope that we all nourish inside of ourselves to make the world a better place.

3. Infancy (Ages 0-3): Vitality – The infant is a vibrant and seemingly unlimited source of energy. Babies thus represent the inner dynamo of humanity, ever fueling the fires of the human life cycle with new channels of psychic power.

4. Early Childhood (Ages 3-6): Playfulness – When young children play, they recreate the world anew. They take what is and combine it with the what is possible to fashion events that have never been seen before in the history of the world. As such, they embody the principle of innovation and transformation that underlies every single creative act that has occurred in the course of civilization.

5. Middle Childhood (Ages 6-8): Imagination – In middle childhood, the sense of an inner subjective self develops for the first time, and this self is alive with images taken in from the outer world, and brought up from the depths of the unconscious. This imagination serves as a source of creative inspiration in later life for artists, writers, scientists, and anyone else who finds their days and nights enriched for having nurtured a deep inner life.

6. Late Childhood (Ages 9-11): Ingenuity – Older children have acquired a wide range of social and technical skills that enable them to come up with marvelous strategies and inventive solutions for dealing with the increasing pressures that society places on them. This principle of ingenuity lives on in that part of ourselves that ever seeks new ways to solve practical problems and cope with everyday responsibilities.

7. Adolescence (Ages 12-20): Passion - The biological event of puberty unleashes a powerful set of changes in the adolescent body that reflect themselves in a teenager’s sexual, emotional, cultural, and/or spiritual passion. Adolescence passion thus represents a significant touchstone for anyone who is seeking to reconnect with their deepest inner zeal for life.

8. Early Adulthood (Ages 20-35): Enterprise – It takes enterprise for young adults to accomplish their many responsibilities, including finding a home and mate, establishing a family or circle of friends, and/or getting a good job. This principle of enterprise thus serves us at any stage of life when we need to go out into the world and make our mark.

9. Midlife (Ages 35-50): Contemplation – After many years in young adulthood of following society’s scripts for creating a life, people in midlife often take a break from worldly responsibilities to reflect upon the deeper meaning of their lives, the better to forge ahead with new understanding. This element of contemplation represents an important resource that we can all draw upon to deepen and enrich our lives at any age.

10. Mature Adulthood (Ages 50-80): Benevolence – Those in mature adulthood have raised families, established themselves in their work life, and become contributors to the betterment of society through volunteerism, mentorships, and other forms of philanthropy. All of humanity benefits from their benevolence. Moreover, we all can learn from their example to give more of ourselves to others.

11. Late Adulthood (Age 80+): Wisdom – Those with long lives have acquired a rich repository of experiences that they can use to help guide others. Elders thus represent the source of wisdom that exists in each of us, helping us to avoid the mistakes of the past while reaping the benefits of life’s lessons.

12. Death & Dying: Life – Those in our lives who are dying, or who have died, teach us about the value of living. They remind us not to take our lives for granted, but to live each moment of life to its fullest, and to remember that our own small lives form of a part of a greater whole.

Former Gambian Dictator Jammeh May Leave Gambia Tonight For Guinea!

Former Gambian dictator Yahya Jammeh, might likely leave town tonight to resettle in Guinea Conakry, the Freedom Newspaper can reveal. Mr. Jammeh is on the verge of finalizing the deal for his exit route, sources said. Although, Jammeh wants to have possession of his stolen wealth and assets within and outside the shores of the Gambia.

Few days ago, we reported in this medium that Jammeh and president Conde of Guinea are close buddies. It appears that Mr. Conde is going to trigger the breakthrough Gambians and the world at large have been yearning for to settle the month long political impasse. A statement from Jammeh stepping aside from the presidency, will soon be aired on GRTS.

Present and former Jammeh enablers, should know that Jammeh is snitching on them at this hour. Jammeh is claiming he alone cannot go down in this unexpected regime change. He is talking about millions of dollars joint venture wealth. He also wants president Barrow and the Gambian people to forgive him whatever might have transpired during his rule.

Folks, Yahya Jammeh, is going to leave town soon. There is no exact timeline for his departure, but sources said plans are afoot to have him resettled in Guinea. He might leave town tonight or in the next coming hours. Jammeh is travelling with his mum Asombi Bojang, family and some guards.

Reports have it that President Adama Barrow’s mom and Jammeh’s mom were invited at the talks. Assurances were made that there wouldn’t be any retribution against Jammeh. That National Reconciliation would be promoted.

If Gambia’s dictator Yahya Jammeh is not arrested in coming hours, Guinean President of Alpha Conde, might have Jammeh as a guest. Conde and Jammeh are close buddies. Over the past weeks, Jammeh has been busy shipping his fancy cars and belongings to Guinea.
The relationship between Jammeh and Conde stems out the days of late President Alpha Conteh. Conde, was once jailed by Conteh. Jammeh brokered peace between him and Conteh.
When President Conteh died, Jammeh propped up Conde to vey for the Presidency. He financed Conde’s presidential bid. This is a top state secret. There are very few people privy to the details of Jammeh’s role in financing Conde’s Presidency.
It is also important to note that Jammeh’s wife Zeinab Souma Jammeh hailed from Guinea. Her late Dad is a Guinea. She is from “Kindy” in Guinea.
The relationship between Macky Sall and Conde is not cordial. Like Jammeh, Conde too rigged the past presidential polls in Guinea. He used the military to arrest and torture the opposition. Senegal favored the Guinean opposition leader, which never went down well with Conde.
Conde will not handover Jammeh to the ICC if requested. Both him and Jammeh are not in good terms with Macky.

A man has been found guilty of the "depraved" rape and murder of a mother in Aberdeen.
Bala Chinda, 26, denied killing 37-year-old Nkechi McGraa - an escort also known as Jessica - at a flat in Union Terrace in February last year.
Chinda sobbed as he was jailed for life, with a minimum term of 18 years, after a jury at the High Court in Aberdeen returned its verdict.

Police Scotland said it was a "horrific" case.
The murder verdict was unanimous, and the rape verdict decided by a majority.
Chinda, whose father works at the Nigerian embassy in Beijing, killed Ms McGraa only a few weeks after arriving in Scotland to study at Robert Gordon University.
Her body was found partially clothed on 12 February 2016, in the bedroom of the flat she rented.
CCTV footage revealed that she had travelled to Chinda's student accommodation on King Street with him in a taxi the previous evening, before they returned to her apartment a short time later.
CCTV footage revealed Jessica McGraa had got into a taxi with her killer Bala Chinda
The taxi driver said he heard them discussing money before she was killed.
She made her last call on her mobile phone a few minutes before surveillance cameras recorded Chinda walking down the street away from her flat.

The court heard that Ms McGraa died of asphyxiation and was probably smothered with a pillow and possibly strangled with her scarf.
CCTV footage shows killer Bala Chinda following Jessica McGraa
During the trial it emerged that Ms McGraa had a seven-year-old son who lived with her adopted mother in London.
Ms McGraa was originally from Nigeria and was orphaned as a child. She used to send money back to her two sisters and brothers who lived abroad.
Det Ch Insp Stuart Houston said: "At the heart of this horrific crime was a young mother, daughter and friend whose life was cut tragically short in what must have been terrifying circumstances.
"Throughout, Chinda has shown no real remorse for his depraved action and taken no responsibility for robbing a young boy of his mother."
He said the victim's involvement in prostitution had been reported throughout the case, and the policing of prostitution presented complex challenges.
It is understood Jessica only returned to Scotland’s oil capital from London a couple of weeks ago, having lived and worked there in the past.
Gareth was working as a chief mechanic with Atlantic Drilling in Nigeria in 2005 when he met Jessica in a Port Harcourt bar.
He said: “Coincidentally I was being transferred to Lagos and she was going there at the same time so we travelled together.

He said: “We had our barneys like couples do but I spoke to her every other day. She was with me for 10 years.”

They last spoke on Tuesday last week, three days before Jessica was found dead in a flat in Aberdeen's Union Terrace.

Lies: Jessica told loves ones she sold hair extensions

He said: “She liked to be the centre of attention but she wasn’t a girl to put it about – she wasn’t at all like that, never.
“When I met her I don’t think she’d had more than a handful of lovers in all her life.
“She wasn’t cheap and liked her Gucci and Armani handbags. She loved the high life and wanted all her dreams to come true tomorrow.
“But she was also a pious person who believed in God. I knew what I was walking into but I really cared for the girl.
“To my mind, and hers, we were going to get back together at some point.
“Not just me, the two of us. I wanted it, she wanted it so why not? But I only ever got half the story. I thought I knew her and it hurts.”

Former Gambian President Yahya Jammeh, has delivered his last speech to the nation. Below is the full text of the speech.
My first preoccupation as president and commander-in-chief of the armed forces and a patriot and most secret that is to preserve at every instance and every circumstance the life of every Gambian and this is a duty and sacrosanct. I only strive for peace and security of a nation and Africa. During this entire time, Allah’s wisdom has permitted me to exercise perseverance and throughout the time that the sovereign people of The Gambia have put their confidence in me, my primary occupation has been to uphold the dignity of the people and the sovereignty of this great nation.

As a result of the numerous circumstances that I and those before have believed as a nation that Gambia has affirmed its desire to determine its future destiny. This cause I have always been ready to defend and even with my life. All the actions we have taken to build this nation up to this point have distinguished us among the community of nations giving us the pride of peace in history.
All these while, as Muslim and a patriot I don’t think it is necessary that a single blood is dropped. Since the beginning of our political impasse of our dear nation, I promised before Allah SWT and the entire nation that all the issues we face currently may be resolved peacefully. I am thankful to Allah SWT that up till now there is no single causality that has been registered. I believe in the importance of dialogue and in the capacity of Africans to resolve among themselves all the challenges on the way towards democracy, economic and social development.
It is as a result of this that I have decided today in good conscience to relinquish the mantle of leadership of this great nation with my gratitude to all Gambians, women, children, youth, men, friends of The Gambia who have supported me for twenty two years on the best of modern Gambia. I put above all and everything the independence of the free and proud people of The Gambia together with as we defend this independence that we surely fought and worked for.
My decision today was not dictated by anything else but by the supreme interest of the Gambian people and dear country taking into consideration that my prayer and desire that peace and security continue to reign in Gambia.
At the time, we are witnessing trouble, ciaos in other parts of the Africa and the world, peace and security of The Gambia is our collective heritage which we must jealousy guard and defend. I am proud and honored to have served our country The Gambia while thanking all of our members of the security serving humble lives. All those who have supported me or against me in this period, I implore them to put the supreme interest of our Nation The Gambia above all partisan interest and endeavor working together as one nation to continue to preserve the Almighty, cherish achievements of the country, its sovereignty, peace, stability and integrity and the economic achievements reached during these years.
I pray that the Gambia our homeland continues to be united and prosperous for the welfare on each and every one of us and being proud of all. I submit myself only to the judgement of Allah. His judgment is above and beyond man. Allah is the only guidance of truth and justice. Finally, I am truly and sincerely proud to have been at your service to our noble nation. I want to thank my mum. Wife, children and security forces, and all the people.

Gambia: Jammeh Signs Off Tonight As He Leaves For Guinea Between 1am -5am Gambian Time

Pa, This is The Soldier again. Permission to write SIR. Our boss sorry for being quiet during this key moment, but a majority of DCC agents were on operation “out and in” which involved a lot of military personnel going to Senegal and returning back with ECOWAS. God willing DCC agents will share pictures of the operation at the appropriate time. DCC will still not say mission accomplished until monster Jammeh is out of the country.

Fellow Gambians, DCC can confirm to you that dictator Jammeh and devil Zeinab will leave between 1am to 5am Gambian time. Dictator Jammeh and his entire family, brothers, cousins, sisters, aunties, his mother, etc are all leaving for Morocco. DCC agents are at this moment helping dictator Jammeh and devil Zeinab pack. As clearly stated in our last report “ a majority “ of the army refused to fight for monster Jammeh. The senior officers tried every trick but the junior soldiers boldly stood their ground
and did not even entertain the idea. But DCC can confirm to you that the post Jammeh era clock is about to start. Dictator Jammeh has been relying on spiritual doctors and somehow still believe that the international community will overturn the decisions they made on the Gambia.
Up to this afternoon dictator Jammeh was never panic, he was pretending that everything was just fine. But around 1pm, reality began to sink and he and devil Zeinab started shouting at each other. All these days, dictator Jammeh kept on telling the soldiers inside state house that everything is fine, he tried every avenue and each one got shut down. DCC wants to reaffirm to Gambians that “PACKING” is almost done and dictator Jammeh is here giving instructions that a majority of the items should be transported to Kanilai.
Earlier on during the day when he knew that he has to leave the country he sent a group of soldiers to Kanilai to retrieve some money and personal belongings but ECOWAS and the Gambian soldiers refused them entry. Monster Jammeh was furious and was shouting why he can’t access his Kanilai mansion. Since around 5pmin the evening people have been going to the airport to bid farewell to monster Jammeh and unknown to them dictator Jammeh will use every trick to delay his departure. But he received strict instructions that he must leave before 6am Saturday morning.
As we speak there are still people including DCC agents who are still there. Dictator Jammeh can go to the airport at any second, he is humiliated and he recorded a farewell too which will be played on GRTS. Dictator Jammeh is telling the soldiers that he is only going out for a short time and will return to Kanilai soon. The coalition and ECOWAS should not allow this monster and devil Zeinab to return to the Kanilia area, it will be just be a matter of time and he will destabilize that whole area and potentially the whole sub region. He will create a REBEL ZONE. If monster Jammeh fails to get out of the country before sunrise he will be humiliated and little children will throw stones at him. He will leave during darkness and not during daylight.
DCC knows exactly where monster Jammeh and devil Zeinab are going, they have a mansion in Morocco. DCC feels sorry for the people who are traveling and staying with dictator Jammeh. Once they arrive he will be shouting at them, he will put the whole blame on them and they will be miserable. DCC agents are already at the airport so that we can bid farewell to the two evil people Jammeh and Zeinab. Devil Zeinab bye bye, DCC will one day see you in court. Enjoy the last red carpet we just rolled for you in the state house, you make us work every day and you don’t pay us. Fellow Gambians, even during this last moment monster Jammeh and devil Zeinab are making DCC agents work hard by fixing the red carpet they are about to use for the last time
We just finished packing, we brought down all of the pictures and for security reasons we cannot tell everything we discovered. Power belongs to the people and DCC wishes the coalition the best !!!
This is The Soldier, RIP ELLO JALLOW, SOLO SANDENG, MILE-2 NINE, and December 2014 Martyrs.
Editors note: Diplomatic sources have hinted that President Alpha Conde of Guinea, has allocated Jammeh, his wife, family and entourage with a special villa to live. Mr. Jammeh is travelling with a sizable entourage, including some of his close security henchmen. Guinea, would be his new home. The dictator, who used to exile his countrymen, is today a refugee in a foreign land.
In another development, President Barrow is expected back in the Gambia in the coming hours. Jammeh’s departure has been widely welcomed both at home and abroad. Gambian exiles are now free to return home.
