Actress Adesua Etomi has also confirmed her engagement to musician and actor,Banky W after he also shared their love story (Here).She wrote
I went to an event in 2015 and I suppose that was the beginning of something amazing because once banky saw me, he decided that he was going to be my biggest fan.
He slid into my DM and sent the funniest message and that was how we became friends. At the time, I wasn’t interested in anything but a friendship and he was very respectful of that and so we stayed just friends for about a year and a half.



Our friendship opened my eyes to a lot of things. Opened my eyes to the type of man Olubankole is and WHAT A MAN. WHAT A MIGHTY GOOD MAN.
Olubankole, Your Heart is pure and good, to the very core. You are proof that God is real, you are proof that what’s on the inside is greater and so much more powerful than what we see on the outside and you are the evidence of what I hoped for. I bless God for entrusting my heart in your hands because I know it’s safe. You are everything i prayed for and so much more.

American Woman Accused Her Nigerian Husband, Tony Ettah Of Scamming And Dumping Her After Using Her To Get A Green Card.

According to Deborah Hendrickson, she filed (online) a fraud case immediately against Tony after he admitted using her and told her she caused it. That he absconded because she kept telling him she senses he was using her and her words 'caused' it to happen.

Deborah is now threatening to report Tony to Donald Trump so she'll get justice. Read her story below:
I don't know where to start . . . I guess I'll start with meeting Inyang Obaten Ettah, AKA Tony Ettah back in June 2010, we met through a friend of mine named, Charles.  I've
been visiting Nigeria since 2008, had an NGO there (Open Arms International) that never really got started, I know lots of people in Nigeria, Rich & Poor. I thought I was savvy when it came to the Romance Scammers, the 419ers, but, I was not prepared for how Inyang Obaten Ettah PLAYED ME, yes, I did inquire about Inyang via Charles, Charles vouched for Inyang's authenticity (so HE THOUGHT) because Charles knew Inyang for 10 years (at that time - June 2010), there is where it began.
As Inyang and I began conversing, we discussed the difference in Age and the fact that I could not have any children, Inyang response was "it doesn't matter because God said you are my Wife and I had made up in my mind that however God sent my wife, that is how I would ACCEPT her." He shared with me how many women in his church (Faith Tabernacle AKA Winners, David Oyedepo is Pastor) cannot have children, and some are even older than their husbands, but, they still married and are still married today (was referring up to that moment he made that statement).  He even shared how his Auntie is in the exact situation (no Child(ren), yet she and her husband are STILL TOGETHER (at that time August 2010).
Time went on, Inyang then asked that I come to Nigeria to visit him, by that time he had CONVINCED me that he was AUTHENTIC and SINCERE - HE WASN'T.  

Anyway, I visited Inyang December 2010 (6 months after officially meeting). I was in Nigeria for 21 days, the entire time Inyang was the Perfect Host, he took me everywhere, introduced me to EVERYONE, family, friends, enemies, church associates, he even took me to church at Winners' Chapel, Canaan Land, Ota Nigeria; Inyang was so active at Winners, he volunteered as Security (Bus & Church), he pretty much, so I THOUGHT lived in church, always talking about God (to me), he told me how he attended Pre-Marital classes at Winners because he wanted to Prepare to be an EXCELLENT HUSBAND to ME, he had me FOOLED, he was the World's Greatest Pretender.
While in Nigeria Inyang proposed to me (December 21, 2010) during my Launch Party of Royal Entertainment Nigeria, I accepted his Proposal because I was convinced he was AUTHENTIC!  He did not perform in the typical way that of a Romance Scammer or Yahoo Boi, as stated, he introduced me to EVERYONE, took me EVERYWHERE, etc. After the proposal, eight months later I returned to Nigeria and we were married 8 months later (August 12, 2011).  What I thought that was going to be a Marriage, turned out to be MARRIAGE FRAUD!



I submitted Inyang's Immigration paperwork to USCIS December 12, 2011, the first process was was Approved May 2012, his Interview in Lagos was October 30, 2012 and his Visa was issued, the entire process from submission to Approval was 10 months, Inyang even used that quick process to say "the Lord Caused it to happen because it is HIS WILL because I'm his Wife." LIAR!
Inyang arrived in the U.S. November 21, 2012 and that's when HE CHANGED - IMMEDIATELY!  He was no longer the loving speaking, affectionate man I visited December 2012, his excuse was "he's in a new place, give him time to adjust." In the meanwhile I did my part as his wife.  I later learned that Inyang never attended school in Nigeria when I took him to our local college (Danville Community College) to enroll, I was upset because Inyang TOLD ME he was college educated (in Nigeria), Education means a lot to me and I only aligned myself with college educated men, so, he could not enroll. he was advised to enroll in the Adult Education program, which he did, but was unable to do the work so he stopped attending.  

He applied for a job at a Company name EBI in Danville, VA (June 6, 2013) and was terminated (July 4, 2013) due to violation of company code by using profane language and misconduct, thereafter Inyang obtained a job at Ebay through Adecco a Temporary Employment Agency, he didn't keep that job and was released approximately 4 weeks later (those dates elude me).  Thereafter Inyang could not find employment in Danville, VA, it was a strain on the marriage.
By April 2014 a friend of mine, Amos Ajo conference with Inyang and I to discuss Inyang moving to Atlanta, Georgia to work for him, the plan was for Inyang to move, get established, and I to follow no less than 6 months later - that NEVER HAPPENED!  Inyang officially moved to Atlanta April 14, 2014, and Mr. Ajo did as promised, gave Inyang a job, Inyang and I talked everyday, he visited me periodically in Danville, VA; when I visited Inyang in Atlanta, he was always too busy to be with me, always said "he was working," causing my trip to be wasted.  As time went on I noticed I was not hearing from Inyang, his excuse was always "he's working," yet he NEVER SENT ANY MONEY TO ME FOR the HOUSEHOLD in Danville, his excuse was "he had to pay for expenses where he was staying," Mr. Ajo arranged temporary lodging for Inyang at 3502 Adkins Road, Atlanta, GA  30331 where he shared space with Mr. Gabriel Owolabi, a friend of Mr. Ajo.


 I didn't notice until AFTERWARDS that Inyang played Me, what I mean by that is, from April 14, 2014 to July 2014 I barely heard from Inyang. By August 2014 he began calling regularly, his excuse was, he got a new Job working at a company named United Distributors Inc., 5500 United Dr. SE, Smyrna, GA  30082, 678.305.2000 and was flexible and could now talk when at work. By September 2014 Inyang did a surprise visited, I realized AFTERWARD that it was because the I-751-Petition to Remove Conditions on Residence Arrived, Inyang gathered all documents, and the form was Signed by me.  I remained consumed with the preparation of opening my Christian Venue, Debs Gospel Cafe in Danville, VA, which opened November 2014.  Inyang did another surprised visit for Thanksgiving 2014.  
Thereafter it went back to him not calling.  I visited Inyang in Atlanta, GA March 14, 2015 after the last seeing him since November 2014, that visit did not turn out to be good, Inyang complained that I could not stay with him at 3502 Adkins Road, Atlanta, GA  30331 because there "was no place for me to sleep," so, I rented a Motel at the Super 8 in Stockbridge, GA, Inyang spent 1 night with me then left me at the hotel, not hearing from him again, he said he had to "go home to wash clothes." I left Georgia devastated!

 My daughter married March 24, 2015, to appease me from his doing me wrong a week later he attended her wedding, he was very cold, everyone around noticed his negative attitude towards me and quickly voices their opinion.  March 26, 2015 was the LAST TIME I SAW INYANG.  Inyang kept in touch, each time asking me "did his Permanent Green Card arrive," he said he needed it because his job was in jeapordy and now that his finances was getting better better, he needed to keep his job at United Distributors, Inc. so he can begin sending me money - EVENTUALLY, HE NEVER SENT A DIME!  Finally, May 1, 2015 his Permanent Resident Card arrived, I mailed it to him because he expressed the urgency of it to show his Employer.
Once Inyang received his Permanent Resident card, he BLOCKED ME from ALL Social Network, MOVED to 1121 Ridgebrook Trail, Duluth, GA  30096, and changed his Job (unknown to me now).  Because Inyang refused to give me the necessary job information (while at United Distributors, Inc.) I was unable to apply and received Healthcare, Inyang filed his 2014 Income Tax but I have no clue under what Status, he did tell me that he filed SINGLE for 2015, and we were still married.  Inyang changed his Driver's License from Virgina #T60274200 to Georgia Driver's License 059553398, he then moved his phone 434.203.5226 from my AT&T Family Plan to his own.
Inyang has severed ALL TIES WITH ME, as soon as he RECEIVED HIS PERMANENT RESIDENT CARD, to me, showing MARRIAGE FRAUD, IF he was serious about our Marriage, we would still be together.
Inyang has told many lies on me, saying, I threw water in his face, hit him, etc., I KNOW his Nigerian friends put him up to saying that, because IF I'd done those things, that's considered ABUSE and he could have called Danville Local Police and file charges against me, but, IT NEVER HAPPENED.  He must make me look like the bad guy when all I ever did was love him.
His plan was for us to REMAIN married so he can file for Citizenship in 5 years, because by now I figured out he USED ME for MARRIAGE FRAUD, he knew I would not submit the necessary paperwork for citizenship, he told me he could still do it in 5 years and that I could not STOP HIM FROM BECOMING A CITIZEN.  Though it's MY WORD AGAINST HIS, all I have is HIS ACTIONS, He ADMITTED TO ME THAT he  USED ME, and that I CAUSED IT BECAUSE I KEPT TELLING HIM THAT I SENSE HE WAS USING ME AND MY "WORDS" CAUSED IT TO HAPPEN (Him using me).  When Inyang made that statement I immediately filed (online) a Fraud Case.



I divorced Inyang August 2016, he gladly signed the Papers because he has a Fiancee, who he's probably married to by now, offering him the opportunity to now file for citizenship.
I have been told that USCIS WILL DO NOTHING, because Inyang has not committed a Crime, YES HE HAS, He COMMITTED MARRIAGE FRAUD!  That's a Federal Crime.  I've since learned (by people who know him) that he has a Shipping Company, he ships cars to Nigeria, and he has a Clothing Line Winners Clothes, he makes his money and sends it back to Nigeria, Inyang once told me that America is the Land of Opportunity and how he WILL RAPE this Country of their dollars and take advantage of All Opportunities, and he's doing it. 

I am a FIGHTER, I know of 15 Women who has Married Nigerian men and the men used them for Green Card Purposes and they "think" nothing can be done, I want to show them that, YES, SOMETHING CAN BE DONE!  YES! they can be DEPORTED for Immigration Marriage Fraud. 
I will sound the Alarm, Once Trump is in Office I will contact him and tell him my Story, I'm almost sure I will get RESULTS!  Inyang should not have played with my life, I am a Good, Christian Woman Who Believes in Doing Right - all The Time.  I trust that the Lord WILL GIVE ME JUSTICE by the Fraud Division recognizing that Inyang Obaten Ettah MARRIED ME FOR IMMIGRATION MARRIAGE FRAUD.

Canadian Sisters Accused In Nigerian Extortion Scandal Apologized To Femi Otedola in Other To Get Their Passports Returned

The two Toronto sisters were last seen apologizing in a video for allegedly extorting and cyber-bullying billionaire, Femi Otedola.

Recall that back in December, Kiran and Jyoti Matharoo were arrested for allegedly trying to blackmail billionaire Femi Otedola and cyberbully more than 200 other people throughout Africa with a website, Naijagistlive.




The reports claimed that the women were in possession of photos and videos showing Otedola cheating on his wife. The sisters were eventually charged with extortion, cyberbullying and threatening to kidnap.

Shortly after, a video surfaced on YouTube showing the girls, make-up free and plainly clothed, apologizing to Otedola and his family. In the video apology, the sisters admitted to creating Naijagistlive. 


But, recently, while speaking to CTV News Toronto, the sisters denied having anything to do with the website nor the gossip-laden story posted there about Otedola. They said they agreed to make the video in order to have their passports returned.

But even after apologizing, their passports were never returned and the Canadian embassy had to issue a temporary one, with which they fled Nigeria. The sisters insist they were scapegoats in the Nigerian authorities’ alleged attempt to cover-up a “national embarrassment” involving a person with “power and money.”

Now, despite maintaining a low profile since returning to Canada on Jan. 1, the women have decided to speak out and tell their side of the story. They said: 

“We just decided to speak because everyone thinks we’re missing or dead or worse,” Jyoti said. 
“The way the media reported it, they called us sex workers, prostitutes...I’ve never done anything like that. I’ve never blackmailed anyone, never extorted anyone. I think the stain on our reputation will never be cleared," Jyoti said.
The case against the sisters returns to court May 22 but authorities issued an arrest warrant of arrest in their names because they’ve missed several court appearances. The sister have, however, insisted that they have no intention of returning to Nigeria.

The former president's relationship with Genevieve Cook when he was 22 is revealed in a new biography which tells how it was sexual from the start and involved pot - and cocaine. She was three years older when they met and living in Park Avenue, Manhattan, while he was sharing an apartment where he invited her for dinner and she spent the night. She kept a diary during their year-and-a-half-long relationship which detailed 'passionate' sex and also their use of pot which she smokes daily, and his use of cocaine. 



The book reveals how Obama combined three white girlfriends into one composite character in his memoir, including Sheila Miyoshi Jager, who he asked to marry and then continued to see while he was with Michelle.

His past is revealed in the 1,078-page biography Rising Star: The Making of Barack Obama, to be published on May 9.
Obama, a new Columbia graduate who was working for a firm that  prepared financial reports at the time, made dinner for Cook at his apartment in Manhattan two weeks after meeting her at a New Year's Eve party and handing her his phone number.
It was the start of a relationship which is one of a series revealed in Rising Star.

The 1,078-page biography is the most comprehensive work ever on Obama and the first to be published since he left office. 
It was written after exhaustive research by Pulitzer-prize winning biographer David Garrow, and also reveals how he asked another woman to marry him – and continued a relationship with her while dating Michelle, before she became his wife.

Cook was 25 when she met 22-year-old Obama on New Year's Eve in 1983.
Australian-born Cook was living in her mother and stepfather's Park Avenue apartment at the time, but had been brought up around the world, including - like Obama, Indonesia - as her father was an Australian spy and diplomat.
She wrote about it in a private memoir and said that at the party 'I remember being very engaged and just talking nonstop' with Obama.

'The thing that connected us is that we both came from nowhere – we really didn't belong.'
Their first date involved more than talk however, with Obama cooking at the West 114th Street apartment he shared with two other roommates..
'Then we went and talked in his bedroom. And then I spent the night. It all felt very inevitable,' she wrote in a private memoir, revealed by Garrow.
She spent the night again with him a few days later and rated him highly in bed – even writing a poem to him saying: 'B. That's for you. F's for all the f***ing that we do.'
Garrow reveals that she said: 'Sexually he really wasn't very imaginative but he was comfortable. He was no kind of shrinking "can't handle it. This is invasive" or "I'm timid" in any way; he was quite earthy.'

Their relationship appears to have been deeply sexual, with her writing  that 'all this f***ing' was 'so much more than lust' and also saying in her diary: 'Making love with Barack, so warm and flowing and soft but deep - relaxed and loving - opening up more.'
She also wrote in her diary about 'passionate sex', the book says. 
But the couple also used drugs and Cook reveals that Obama was still a cocaine user when they were together.

He would spend time with other friends - Hasan Chandoo, Imad Hussain and Sohale Siddiqi, who he had been friends with at Occidental College, in Los Angeles - and Cook said the trio was taking 'lots of cocaine'.
They were far more prolific users than Obama, who she said probably preferred staying home to read than taking the drug. Chandoo - who was later to become a fundraiser for Obama - was the leader, the book claims.

'For every five lines that somebody did, he would have done half,' Cook said.
The book also notes that Cook and Obama would smoke pot but only at parties and records one time when during tension in their relationship she wrote in her diary that they went to a party and got 'high' on cocaine.

That Obama was still using cocaine in his early 20s is a significant revelation. 
He had previously only disclosed that he used it as a teenage student.
The couple split in June 1985, after a year and a half together, the book says.
But she was hardly out of his life - because she became involved with his friend Sohale in September of that year. 

She and Sohale did ecstasy together, and then had sex. When she wrote to Obama and told him he replied: 'The news of Sohale and you did hurt.'
He also used - possibly inadvertently - a racial slur to refer to Sohale and the other two Pakistani-born friends, calling them 'the Pakis' in the same letter. 

His first name girlfriend in the book was Alex McNear, who is described as a 'beautiful blond' who was the focus of a crushes for many students at Occidental College.
One male student even fantasized that she was 'the most beautiful lesbian'. 

Later, writes Garrow, Obama boasted to fellow Illinois state lawmakers at their regular poker games in the early 2000s about a sexual conquest who appears to align with her.
One close acquaintance told Garrow: 'The only woman he ever talked about screwing was some really hot blond chick that he was still proud of.
'He was really proud that he'd banged some super-hot blonde from a super-rich family.'
McNear was not super-rich and Garrow suggests this was an 'exaggerated' version of her upbringing being used by Obama.

However, the book is far sketchier on their time together, noting that she knew him in Manhattan as both moved there when he transferred from Occidental to Columbia.
When Obama came to write Dreams From My Father, he created a composite girlfriend from the early 1980s, representing all his white ex-girlfriends. 
The book discloses that Jager felt particularity upset by his treatment of his white girlfriends in Dreams From My Father.

Not only did she become part of 'a woman in New York who I loved', their time living together in Chicago for two years was dropped, and - she said - love letters he sent her were the basis for much of the narrative.
'I never understood why he wrote it this way,' she said.
'I wonder if the unedited Dreams is as inaccurate as the published version.'

Mercy Aigbe Coughing Blood One Week After Being Beaten - Commissioner For Women Affairs

A commissioner has revealed shocking details about actress Mercy Aigbe's domestic violence story which broke the internet recently. 
It has been revealed that with civil and criminal actions being instituted against Lanre Gentry, estranged husband of Nollywood actress, Mercy Aigbe, there are indications of a tough time ahead for the hotelier who, on Tuesday, was quizzed by the Lagos State department of Domestic and Sexual Violence Response Team (DSVRT).

According to The Nation, the visibly angry Commissioner for Women Affairs and Poverty Alleviation in Lagos State, Mrs. Lola Akande, revealed that it was disheartening to see the state Aigbe was when she came to her office to report the case.
“She was coughing blood from her nose and mouth and she had injury on her face which the doctor said she must have an operation. I was so angry that I need to see the face of the man that did this to her, and so we invited him and he came yesterday (Tuesday) to say his own side of the story to the official in charge of domestic violence. But any man that can beat a woman to a pulp like that to the extent that she is still coughing blood one week after the incident need to have his head examined,” said Akande.

According to her, the Lagos State Government has secured a restraining order for Aigbe from any further abuse by her husband.
She commended the courage of Aigbe for voicing out her ordeal, and urged other women going through similar situation not to keep quiet about their ordeal.
“I must commend the courage of mercy, because what she did is what other women who are victims of domestic violence out there need to do, they don’t need to hide it except they want to die there.”
Adding her voice to the matter, Coordinator of DSVRT, Mrs. Titilola Vivour-Adeniyi, said the order henceforth prevents Mr. Gentry from getting close to his wife until further notice, assuring that the government would pursue the case to a logical conclusion.
She disclosed that Gentry, who may be charged for domestic violence, is expected to appear in court in two weeks’ time to give reasons why the restraining order should not be made perpetual.
Vivour-Adeniyi said the State Governor, Mr. Akinwunmi Ambode was committed to stemming the tide of domestic violence, regardless of who the victim or the offender is, saying that Aigbe is yet another victim whose case would be treated according to the law.

“We are actually working on the case with the Ministry of Women Affairs and Poverty Alleviation (WAPA), we are handling both civil and criminal. The criminal aspect of the domestic violence has been reported to the DPO of Area F and we accompanied her to the station with a view to charging the criminal aspect to court. So that is being handled.

“The civil aspect which is to ensure that she is protected, that is where the restraining order comes in, which is provided by the Prevention Against Domestic Violence Law 2007. So, we approached the family court and we got a restraining order on her behalf, restraining Mr. Gentry from I think one mile from her.”

On Easter Sunday, Mercy’s husband on his way to his office gave her money to cook and bring to his hotel in oregun as he was going to be having friends visiting him but hours after he got to the hotel,His wife stopped picking his calls and he made enquires and learnt that his wife had gone for a party without even preparing lunch or dinner for their son who had to make do with pizza for the day.
Later that night,Larry on learning that his wife was in her designer’s house{luminee} went there and asked her to come home,she refused saying she was tired of the marriage ,This infuriated Larry who beat Mercy to stupor and drama started with both calling each other day names and Mercy vowing never to step into his cursed house again, Mercy cried and cried but she and Luminee were helpless and could not fight him, After Larry left mercy was taking to an hosipital and immediately called an Estate Agent the following morning and within 48 hours moved to Magodo.
Attempts to speak with both Mercy and Larry Friday evening was unsuccessful as phonecalls were not picked,Those who should know say both have just been tolerating themselves for 4 years now as Mercy Laments to people she has had to be father and mother as her husband’s financial status has dwinded while Larry Associates cried that mercy has not been a faithful wife and Larry has always been on the Edge checking her calls and messages and they are not surprised that this is happening,one point to years back when the husband almost beat her because she disappeared at a nightclub where an event was held to honour her and her phone was suddenly off, They later made a video denying it.

Diving down into a hole of sludge with his bare hands, spare a thought for this poor sewer cleaner in Bangladesh who has one of the world’s least desirable jobs.

The man, who is an employee of the Dhaka City Corporation, has to unblock the city’s sewer lines without any proper safety equipment.

He often has to go dig around underground with only a long stick to help him and with no mask to protect him from the poisonous fumes the sewage emits.

Scooping out liquid filth with his bare hands, the hardy worker has the thankless task of clawing out blockages in the bustling Bangladeshi capital.


Dhaka has a population in excess of 14 million and has recently been hit by major floods caused by heavy rains and an insufficient storm drainage system.

Despite the alarming rise in the number of deathsof manhole workers, cleaners are still not supplied with sufficient equipment and regularly have to enter the dirty sludge topless.

The Oba of Lagos, Oba Rilwan Akiolu, has claimed that Lagos State is not part of Yoruba land.

Akiolu’s statement is coming barely a week after he publicly humiliated the Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi at an event.

In a statement from Akiolu’s palace, the monarch traced the historical background of the state and why it should not be regarded as part of Yoruba land.




The statement reads: “Coming from the palace, with what I was told by my late paternal grandmother who is a descendant of Oba Ovonramwen Nogbaisi and also reading from factual Historical books, let me share this Knowledge with you all on Eko/Lagos.

“Modern day Lagos was founded by Prince Ado, the son of the Oba of Benin, Prince Ado was the first Oba of Lagos, the son of the Bini King, Prince Ado, named the town Eko until the Portuguese explorer Ruy de Segueira changed the Maritime town to Lagos, which at that time from 1942 was Portuguese expedition center down the African Coast.

“It was a major centre of the slave trade until 1851. Lagos was annexed by Britain via the Lagos treaty of cession in 1861, ending the consular period and starting the British Colonial Period. The remainder of modern day Nigeria was seized in 1886 when the Colony and Protectorate of Nigeria was established in 1914 Lagos was declared its capital due to the struggle of the Bini King.

“Lagos experienced growth prior to the British Colonial rule and even more rapid growth during the Colonial rule throughout the 1960s, 70s, continued through the 80s and 90s till date. Thanks to the Awori’s, Bini’s, Yoruba’s, migrants across the nation and world at large, as no particular group of people can take the glory alone.

“Lagos is made up of Lagoons and creeks. The Lagos lagoon, Lagos Harbour, five cowne creeks, Ebute-Metta creeks, Porto-Novo creeks, New canal, Badagry creeks, Kuramo waters and Light house creeks.

“The Awori’s and Bini’s are known to be the first settlers of the Eko land. The Awori’s are speakers of a distinct dialect close to that of the Yoruba language with a rich Bini mixture. Traditionally, Awori’s were found in Ile-Ife, they were known to be the Bini’s who followed their self-exiled Prince, the first son of the Ogiso (now called Oba) of Benin Kingdom, whose step-mother was after his head.

“The exiled Benin Prince Izoduwa known to the Yorubas as Ooduwa (Oduduwa) was made ruler of the Ife people due to his powers and followers from the Great Benin-Kingdom.

“Izoduwa (Ooduwa) was made the first King of Ile-Ife in 1230 AD. His followers from his father’s Kingdom in Benin are the today’s Awori people who settled in Eko now called Lagos.

“In the 1300, the King of Benin-Empire heard from one of his traders who was a settler in Eko on how the Bini’s were treated by the Awori’s who lived in their area. Upon hearing this, the King of Benin commanded the assembling of a war expedition, led by his son, Prince Ado, which headed the settlement of the Awori’s and demanded explanation.

“On arriving Eko, Prince Ado and his Army were more than received. The Aworis asked the Bini Prince to stay and become their leader. Ado agreed on the condition that they surrender their sovereignty to the Oba of Benin, to which the people agreed. Hearing this, the King of Benin gave his permission for Prince Ado and the expedition to remain in Eko.

“The Oba of Benin sent some of his chiefs including the Eletu, Odibo, Obanikoro and others to assist his son, Oba Ado in the running of Eko.

“From the crowing of Prince Ado as the first Oba of Lagos (then called Eko), Lagos served as a major center for slave trade from which the Aworis, the Oba of Benin and his son the Oba of Lagos and all the children/descendants who took over as his successors for over four centuries supported the trade.

“The Oba of Benin was the head of the Benin Empire which are the present day Western, Southern and Eastern modern day Nigeria. The King never obliged anyone to speak the Bini language as he believed everyone was entitled to their own choice of language.

“The name Eko was given to it by the first king of Lagos, Oba Ado, the young and vibrant Prince from Benin. Eko was the land now known as Lagos Island, where the king palace was built.

“The palace is called Idugaran meaning “palace built on pepper farm” Oba Ado and the warriors from Benin together with the early Bini’s settlers in Eko and the Awori people settled in the southern part of Eko called “Isale Eko”. “Isale literally means bottom “. Must have been used to indicate downtown (as in down town Lagos)

“Until the coming in of the Benin’s 1300AD , Lagos geographical boundary was Lagos mainland, Lagos Island, the seat of the Oba of Lagos then consisted of a pepper farm and fishing post. No one was living there.

“About 1450 AD some Yorubas who hailed from Isheri in Ogun-state and Ekiti were allowed by the King to settle in Eko during a war, they came in a very large numbers thereby surpassing the numbers of the Awori’s and Bini’s. (Hence Yorubas claim to own Eko due to their numbers).

“Oba Ado fell in love with a beautiful woman whose father was Awori and mother a daughter to one of the chief; they had two sons and also a daughter Erelu Kuti, who begot Ologun Kutere who later became King.”

"T.B Joshua Is An Impostor": Pastor Chris Okotie Attack Synagogue Church Pastor Over His Israel Relocation Plans

Flamboyant Nigerian Pastor Chris Okotie is the latest prominent voice to wade into the controversy over Prophet T.B. Joshua’s proposed relocation to Israel.

Speaking on Facebook, Okotie, who has long been an outspoken critic of Joshua, described the cleric as an attention-seeking “impostor”.

“He is controlled by a malevolent misanthropic spirit,” the pastor of Household of God International Ministries wrote on his official Facebook Profile under a news article he reposted detailing Joshua’s alleged relocation.

“His hypocritical jeremiad should be ignored. He is just another frustrated shaman seeking public sympathy,” Okotie wordily concluded.

However, followers of Okotie were surprisingly quick to rise to Joshua’s defence, commenting that the cleric had not been positioned to judge on such matters.

“Honestly, I do not think a brilliant man like Chris Okotie will castigate another who propagates God's throne,” queried Tamaraudoubra Sultan Zimughan.

“On whose mandate is Okotie labelling T.B. Joshua a shaman? Go to both Churches and see whose is more of God? Look at T.B. Joshua's life and that of Chris Okotie and see who is more fruitful”.

APC chieftain Timi Frank and PDP stalwart Femi Fani Kayode are among those who have joined the growing call for Joshua to remain in Nigeria, citing the spiritual, economic and social impact of his church.

Meanwhile, in a post on Joshua’s official Facebook page, the controversial cleric revealed the secret behind his ‘money’. According to him, the reward accrued from ministry cannot be quantified in material terms.

Speaking specifically about his foreign crusades, Joshua disclosed that he pays for the large majority of arrangements and does not touch the offerings collected during such events.

“My joy is to see people healed, delivered and blessed. That is my money. Each person that is delivered is more than $20,000 to me! That is the money God gives me - the joy to sleep in peace,” Joshua stated.

“You need to know what it means if God uses you to heal and deliver people,” the cleric continued. “If you know what it means – the joy in God using you to deliver people – you will never ask the people you deliver to bring money… If God uses you to remove the pain of one, you are more than a millionaire.”

According to the prophet cum philanthropist, “If money is your gain, you are robbing yourself. That money is insufficient – it cannot give you peace.”

Lanre Gentry, estranged husband to Nollywood actress, Mercy Aigbe,  in a chat with BONONLINE, on Wednesday morning said his wife is mentally ill.

In his words:
 “Mercy has mental issues and I'm the one who knows how many places we’ve been to so she can remain stable. I have papers to prove this.”

He also disclosed that he did not beat Mercy as widely speculated, instead it was Mercy who ganged up with her friends and her designer, Luminee House, to attack him. He claimed that while the others beat him, his wife hit him hard with a stool. He also swore to have laid a finger on her despite having caught her several times with different men.
Lanre revealed that one time his wife had told him she was going to China for 2 weeks but instead, went to a Dubai hotel with a man. He showed BON different whatsapp conversations and a particular one where Mercy was asking a third party to get some dollars from the man for her, to further prove this.



“When I confronted my wife, she said she only wanted to collect money from him – a married woman!!! But I discovered that it was the same man that paid for the Magodo house she just moved to.
See, I understand her antics too well. All she wants is be free to live the life of a single woman. What I have tolerated from her all these years, no man can tolerate from any woman.

I worshipped her and I have deposited N8m at Benefit Motors to buy her a N16m Range Rover Evoque for her 40th birthday. I have also paid N1.2m for a hall opposite Sheraton Hotel to celebrate her big, but she has her eyes on other things.”
On why he never consulted her family to intervene, he says Mercy has no regard for her parents, adding that her dad collapsed while on the queue to get his pension last year and was rushed to the hosipital. Mercy was informed but till date hasn't gone to see the old man. He claimed that he was the one that went there and spent about N180k adding that because she refused to take care of her mom, he put the old woman on a salary of N25k per month.

New Research: Semen 'Is Good For Your Health And Helps Fight Depression'

Semen is good for your mental and physical health, a study has found.

Whether it enters the body orally or via unprotected sex, the “mood altering chemicals” contained within seminal fluid reduce depression, increase affection and help you sleep.

The State University of New York study found that women who regularly have unprotected sex are less depressed.

Medical Daily points out semen contains mood-elevating estrone and oxytocin, cortisol, melatonin, anti-depressant prolactin, thyrotropin releasing hormone and serotonin.


The study surveyed the sex lives and mental health of 293 women from the SUNY-Albany campus.

Researchers also asked respondents to complete the Beck Depression Inventory, which is commonly used to measure mood disorders.

The results revealed that sexually active women who “never” used condoms showed significantly fewer depressive symptoms than those who “always” or “usually” used condoms.

The findings, which were published in the Archives of Sexual Behaviour journal, also found women who described themselves as “promiscuous” yet used condoms were as depressed as women who practice abstinence

The team says this suggests it is semen, not just sex, that makes women happy.

It comes in the same month Gordon Gallup, a psychologist at SUNY-Albany, proposed semen also helps women suffering from morning sickness.

Gallup theorised that pregnant women often feel nauseous because their bodes are rejecting the semen’s genetic material as alien.

It thus follows that ingesting the same sperm would allow the body to build up a tolerance, The New York Daily News reported.

Every day, except on Sundays, the energetic Mrs. Chinelo Ogbonna comes to work at Mechanic Village, dons her work wear and sets out many types and sizes of vehicle tyres one atop the other in front of her husband’s vulcanizing workshop. She rushes at stopping vehicles, wheel spanner in one hand, ever ready to begin the loosening of a deflated tyre for repair. 



Her husband, a wiry fair youth, does not stand akimbo watching in front of his number 40, New Parts Section shop. He does not assume the pride of a man whose wife is at work with him. No, Mr. Ifeanyi Ogbonna is busy already working on a flat tyre, determined to patch it by fire, not with a cold sealant. He makes as if it is a common virtue in women, to behave like his wife. Don’t be fooled. He knows he has a unique wife, and he asks me to soften my wonder at this rare form of feminism, and to make-belief she were an ordinary apprentice, else it will get into her gait and slow the turn of work!

But not me. I step out of my SUV, looking to quietly observe the whole drama, scratching my eyebrows in measured curiosity. I buy a fairly-used tyre and sit like other clients to await my turn for service, if only to catch this out-of-the-box situation.

A big tyre rolls at her command of hand. She stops it beside the press. And I think the man of the shop will take over to excavate the wheel from the tyre. My eyes almost bulge to see her sit the large ring on the tyre flange and jump upon the big handle of the press to free the wheel. I want to remonstrate by reflex. But something stops me. It is her deftness, like one just tearing apart a paper. She does not care that men are watching. The reflexive but pretentious effeminacy that shows up in some ladies whenever they are in the presence of men, knows no place in her life. 
It is not that she is not well-endowed as to mesmerize the world if she wants. But she has packaged all the voluptuousness of her body into that work wear.

The matter at hand is money. The money to feed her family of a hardworking husband and four children must be fought for. Yes, she has four children and she is still in the side of youth. But here she is, vulcanizing, for the good of the society. 

Her way of life is a decision she made herself. She is not forced by her husband. There are moments of disagreements between the two. But the quickness with which they settle their differences is beyond public comprehension.

I go on in my mind about the standing values we peddle around and which of them affects us negatively or positively, until she calls my attention to tell me she is through…
I reveal to them that they are news. I educate them how this is so. They consent to a public view such as this you see. It may bring more clients, who knows. Welcome, again, to Nigeria….
